01What Wakeel is

Wakeel is a personal decision-support tool for households. The account holder (the "owner") connects their own portfolio and may invite family members as viewers. Wakeel reads your live portfolio from Kubera and uses AI models (via OpenRouter) to summarise it, highlight movements, and answer your questions about your own positions.

02What Wakeel is not

• Wakeel is not a regulated financial product. It is not licensed as an investment adviser, broker, custodian, or financial institution in Oman, the UAE, or any other jurisdiction.
• Wakeel is not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed adviser, accountant, tax specialist, or Sharia scholar.
• Wakeel does not provide investment advice. Its outputs — including AI briefings, attribution analysis, and Ask CFO responses — are decision support only.
• Wakeel does not execute trades. It cannot buy, sell, or move money on your behalf. All transactions remain with you and your bank or broker.

03Who can use it

To use Wakeel you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Register an account with Google sign-in or a verified email and password.
• As an owner: hold an active Kubera subscription to connect a live portfolio (Wakeel is a layer on top of Kubera), and an active Wakeel subscription.
• As a family viewer: accept an invitation from an owner, who controls which sections you can see.

04Your responsibilities

• Your investment decisions are yours. Anything you do with the information Wakeel provides — buying, selling, rebalancing, paying Zakat — is your own decision and your own responsibility.
• You agree to keep your account credentials secure. If your account is compromised, notify us at support@sawt.tech immediately.
• You agree to use Wakeel for your own household's wealth and not on behalf of unrelated third parties without prior written consent from Sawt Tech.

05Accuracy & reliance

We work hard to make Wakeel's outputs accurate. We cannot guarantee them. Live data depends on Kubera's feeds and on your custodians; AI briefings depend on the model that answers. Always verify a number against your custodian's statement before acting on it.

06Sharia compliance

Wakeel's Sharia-aware features (yield floors, halal flags on instruments, Zakat calculations) follow widely-accepted Hanafi assumptions and the published guidance of AAOIFI. They are tools, not rulings. For your own Sharia decisions, consult a qualified scholar.

07Subscription & billing

Wakeel is offered with a 14-day free trial (limited to 20 Ask-CFO interactions) and then continues as a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. You can choose monthly ($24/month) or annual ($240/year). Owners pay one plan; up to 5 family viewer seats are included. Payments are processed securely by Tap Payments — we never store your full card details. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period using a saved payment token. You can cancel any time from the Settings tab; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

08Privacy

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Briefly: your Kubera positions never leave your session in any persisted form, bank statements are parsed locally, and Sawt Tech staff cannot see your portfolio content.

09Termination

You can stop using Wakeel any time. We can terminate access if you breach these Terms, share your invitation with someone unauthorised, or attempt to use Wakeel for unlawful activity. On termination, we delete your account data within 30 days, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

10Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sawt Tech LLC is not liable for any investment loss, opportunity cost, tax exposure, or Zakat liability arising from your use of Wakeel. Wakeel is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Omani courts in Muscat.

12Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms materially, we will email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Wakeel after that date constitutes acceptance.
